Glow in the Dark Visuals

TheeBlog-KanyeGlowintheDark
I recently talked about NAKED’s goodness when it comes to visuals for concerts and live shows, and it got me thinking about concerts I’ve been to and how many of these have had great visuals or props? Unfortunately not that many… Most shows tend to look the same after a while.. Until! someone comes along and decides to raise the bar by being creative, hiring amazing creative professionals and talent, and yes, spending money…

Cirque du Soleil + Michael Jackson

Inspiration can be found anywhere, from architecture and nature to daily objects or scenarios. As a creative I must admit, music plays a crucial role in my life and work. No matter the genre, no matter the style. As many kids my age, I grew up not only listening to Michael Jackson, but recording his videos in order to analyze them and yes, study some moves… after all, who didn’t dance like him as a teenager?

TheeBlog-byAMT
You finally met that special someone….. or at least that’s what your friends tell you. You’ve wined-&-dined her, met her parents and her crazy brother, you’ve stopped going out with the guys and instead spend your weekends at Michaels, you’ve put up with her friends and even let her bring her cat to your place. Adobe CS5

TheeBlog-AdobeCS5
The new design and packaging for Adobe CS5 has been released, this time, created in-house by Adobe’s Desktop Brand team in collaboration with Tolleson Design, in charge of packaging. While the colors and simplicity remain a bit similar, the use of an isometric grid system similar to what Otl Aicher used in his 1972 Munich Olympics work is the main highlight. Oh, and by the time you finish reading this post, Adobe CS6 will be available!

Ok, some of my work… Locos Por Juana

TheeBlog-Work_LocosPorJuana
I had an interesting conversation recently with a fellow designer, or at least that’s what he calls himself, about branding and identities. I was surprised to find out some of the things he said… well, not really surprised, as this is the type of thinking that ‘lower the bar’ for the rest of us and give this profession a bad rep.
