The new iPhone4 is finally being delivered and picked up from Apple stores everywhere. And no, I don’t and won’t get one until AT&T is out of the picture (disclaimer, I do own an iPhone, just a bit modified, and love it!) but I’ve heard numerous comments about it… pros, cons and even though a few buddies already own it and I’ve been able to play with it, today I finally found a real example of what this bad boy can really do!

World Cup. Halfway there…Photos

Some people say this World Cup has been a disaster, some people say it’s been a great one (after a slow start of course) but to be honest, all these opinions have been nulled completely by the lovely Vuvuzelas. And no, I don’t have anything against them considering they are part of South Africa’s folklore. We’re almost there… the final is near and I’m sure it will be a great (Argentina vs Brazil derby) match. And since there are no games today and tomorrow, let’s look back and reminisce some great moments and amazing photos courtesy of The Boston Globe.

Although I believe it is a free event, I was able to secure my name plus few on the guest list thanks to ESPN. Unfortunately I won’t be able to make it but if you are interested in attending, contact me and I’ll be happy to provide the details!

Think About…

I’ve always been a fan of Pentagram’s work for Saks Fifth Avenue, and saw their new ‘campaign’ at the mall this past weekend and found it interesting, so I had to share it with you. Yes, I do sometimes use a trip to the mall to check work and get inspired in between spending way too much on cool and vintage baby clothes ;)

Data Awesomeness

We all need and love good inspiration as part of our daily lives. AND we all hate the usual robotic data sheet presentations and reports from the cool guys in accounting! But not all data presentations or infographics have to be boring, in fact, when done right the results could be brilliant! And this is what Michael Paukner does, and he does it damn well!

Urban Landscapes

When most people think of urban paintings, a prevalent style comes to mind. But that’s not the case with Marco Zamora and his work. His interpretation of urban life is a bit more complex yet realistic, combining daily humor and folklore with rich collages and an oh so true and ever-present suffocating vibe of traditional urban streets.
