The Plastic Slipper

I personally love the versatility and beauty of film when a Photographer is involved. They have that extra little something which some people like to call ‘eye’, (I simply call it ‘badass talent’) that has the ability to visually sparkle-up stories. This is the case of Photographer and Director Joseph Marconi. His project ‘The Plastic Slipper’ is a brief story about a woman constructing an empty and plastic relationship. You might have seen/heard that before, but the beauty and stunning quality of this video, is what’s gonna make you go hmmm…

“This was an ambitious project for me. From early on the art direction was established… a 60s French/Italian/Breakfast at Tiffany’s inspired shoot. The concept is what took some time, finding a way to make a provocative, yet fun, video about a woman constructing an empty and plastic relationship. There were quite a few set backs but in the end it came together over 12 hrs on a Friday.” – Joseph Marconi
