MCBESS!
There are many Illustrators I love and whose work constantly inspires me as well as other artists. Take London based Illustrator McBess for example. His amazingly unique and inspiring illustrations have a tale and personality of their own and his style and talent is enviable. His illustrations combine beautiful lettering, tattoos, old cartoons, sex and rock n’ roll. Check out some of his work after the jump and follow his site and blog for inspiring updates.

A Lovely Tale
I love finding and learning about new ideas and creative projects by artists and designers – specially when they are awesome THEE BLOG readers! :) Ariel Body is a student on the MA Multidiscplinary Design programme at the University of Ulster, Belfast, where she is currently exploring the use of digital manipulation in photography and how this can affect representations of reality. Ariel launched a campaign to fund her project and she needs our help. Check out her project description and video after the jump and visit her Kickstarter page to support her project!

Backstage at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
As a Designer who works in the ‘branding’ field, I have to admit that I admire and respect the folks at Victoria’s Secret for the amazing work they’ve done throughout the years, becoming one of the most recognized brands worldwide and a synonym of beauty, sexiness and elegance. As many of you know, the 2011 VS Fashion Show is airing soon (Nov. 29th – filmed earlier this month). And to prepare for this brilliant event here’s a collection of Behind the Scenes photos taken backstage by Fashion Photographer Billy Rood. If you’ve ever been to a photo shoot, specially Fashion, you know it’s not just about looking beautiful… these girls really work it!

Walking around San Francisco
It’s been a crazy month with lots of unexpected surprises, both good and bad, but we’re still here… still truckin’! Thinking of how great life is and what makes us happy, I wanted to share some personal photos today. I had the fortune of visiting the West Coast recently, San Francisco to be more specific. And yes, I had to take my camera and capture a few photos to share this amazing city from my own designer-perspective. I have many great memories but, the amazing weather, beautiful sunsets, impressive architecture, culture and landscapes (both urban and rural), and our infamous ‘bike the Bridge’ experience (my wife must really love me) are amongst my favorites. Oh, and of course, the impressive Alcatraz Tour and beautiful Napa Valley! Check out some of my favorite photos, hope you enjoy them!
