Google Israel offices

TheeBlog-GoogleIsrael I’ve always been a passionate advocate of good architecture and well designed spaces. In fact, I cannot stress enough the importance of a clean, fun and inspiring workspace/office. This should be mandatory! Google is one of those giants that certainly understands the importance of a creative environment for its employees. We’ve seen many of their offices around the world and drooled over their awesome architecture and decoration. Today I want to share one of Google’s latest additions, their Tel Aviv headquarters. An 85,000 sq. ft. campus, designed by Camenzind Evolution, that occupies 8 floors and features an interesting combination of modern and rustic social areas, colorful lighting and of course, a signature Google slide.

The eight-floor space, located in Electra Tower, is filled with different themes within the common areas on each level. A statement about the architectural project reads: “Nearly 50% of all areas have been allocated to create communication landscapes, giving countless opportunities to employees to collaborate and communicate with other Googler’s in a diverse environment that will serve all different requirements and needs.” While the cubicle and office work stations are fairly standard in their design, there are still enough embellishments walking through the workplace to spark creativity.
