Because we all love geeky MARVEL movies, and you might need some entertainment at work if half your office is out today :) Enjoy!
I love to see how projection has grown and expanded to different mediums and different methods. The range keeps increasing, and that is a good and fun thing. Le Petit Chef is a cool project by SkullMaping scaled down to be featured on a table and narrate a story by combining 3D animation and motion capture. Bon appétit!
Branding or designing an art/design conferences is truly a challenging task. I mean, you are designing for designers, so the bar is always set higher, expectations are greater, and you must dig deep to challenge yourself and do something unique. This is exactly what talented London based Designer Dani Wolf did for this year’s KIKK Festival. His combination of lovely paper patterns, origami and type is not only beautiful, it is hypnotizing!
Infinity’ is an immersive environment project by Refik Anadol. Project is an integral part of artist’s ongoing ‘Temporary Immersive Environment Experiments’ which is a research on audio/visual installations by using the state called immersion which is the state of consciousness where an immersant’s awareness of physical self is transformed by being surrounded in an engrossing environment; often artificial, creating a perception of presence in a non-physical world.
Johnnie Walker Blue Label has followed up last year’s great ad spot featuring Jude Law and Giancarlo Giannini with a second part, a second wager. This time, featuring a lovely vintage car and Jude Law racing around Monaco. These ads are brilliantly produced and beautifully executed – a bit too good for an ad some might say – but I say NO! If you’re going to work in advertising and create a campaign or ad, go all out! So kudos to Johnnie Walker and Anomaly (agency) for continuing to raise the bar. Oh, and if you didn’t catch the first ad, don’t worry, you can watch it after the jump…
