For decades before that, it was the hands of industrious workers, and various ingenious machines and tools that brought type and image together on meticulously prepared paste-up boards, before they were sent to the printer. The Academy Awards are the Hollywood version of your High School prom. Celebrities play dress up and try to behave – even the trashy ones. And like any other prom or I-spent-money-on-this-dress-so-I-better-get-some-photos event, there are many photo ops and photos I am sure you’ve seen around, including red carpet, winners gallery, etc. But the one gallery that caught my attention and that I enjoyed was this series of photos taken by the talented Mark Seliger at Vanity Fair’s Oscars Party.
