Counterfeit Culture

Counterfeit Culture is a new documentary by the folks at High Snobiety which dives directly into streetwear – real and fake. In recent years, Korea has emerged as one of the world’s fastest-growing fashion markets. Koreans are obsessed with fashion, and the country produces scores of talented designers, many of whom are now breaking out onto the global stage. Beneath the surface, though, there’s an insane market for counterfeit streetwear. Of course, you can find fake clothing all over the globe, but there’s places in Seoul that are selling convincing knock-offs of hyped brands like Raf Simons, Off-White, Balenciaga and Fear Of God.

The Carter Effect

While some players leave their mark on the hardwood, Vince Carter left his on an entire country. VC was and still is one of the Godfathers of slam dunks and showmanship. If you love Basketball and enjoyed watching Vince Carter as much as I did growing up, you cannot miss his upcoming documentary, THE CARTER EFFECT. The UNINTERRUPTED production, premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
