Today, FIFA announced Russia as the host of the 2018 World Cup beating candidates (and favorites) England, Spain-Portugal, and Belgium-Netherlands. I really thought this would have been an easy win for the brits but it was also mentioned they only managed to get 2 (out of 22) votes. Seriously? World Cup. Halfway there…Photos
Some people say this World Cup has been a disaster, some people say it’s been a great one (after a slow start of course) but to be honest, all these opinions have been nulled completely by the lovely Vuvuzelas. And no, I don’t have anything against them considering they are part of South Africa’s folklore. We’re almost there… the final is near and I’m sure it will be a great (Argentina vs Brazil derby) match. And since there are no games today and tomorrow, let’s look back and reminisce some great moments and amazing photos courtesy of The Boston Globe.

The Two Escobars. Miami Screening.
